What is Reflecting Pool?
Reflecting Pool is a web app that uses embeddings to compare items and, hopefully, help you find hidden relationships between them.
What kind of data can I use it on?
Reflecting Pool accepts several formats including JSON and plain text. You can mix file types in a single upload.
What are semantic embeddings, and why does that matter?
Semantic embeddings represent the meaning of your content, not just the exact words in it.
Setup
Do I need to install anything?
No. However, in future releases, there will be tooling available on the customer side to connect to the service.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Make a new organization here.
Core usage
Is there a limit on how much I can upload?
This will be added in a future patch.
Data and storage
Where is my uploaded data stored?
Your uploads are stored on Aquarium Apps' servers, which itself uses AWS. I cannot guarantee your data will be located in any particular jurisdiction.
How long does my data stay stored?
Your data does not expire.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete uploaded content or close your account at any time, which removes the data you stored with Reflecting Pool.
