Reflecting Pool Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using Reflecting Pool. By creating an account or using Reflecting Pool, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance
Using Reflecting Pool means you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Permitted use
You may use Reflecting Pool to upload and analyze your own data - JSON files, text files, or other plain content you have the right to upload. You may use it for personal or commercial purposes.
3. Prohibited use
You may not:
- Upload data you do not have the right to share, including data containing other people's personal information without their consent
- Use Reflecting Pool in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to Reflecting Pool's servers or other users' data
- Use the Aquarium Apps name or branding to imply endorsement of a derivative product without permission
4. Your data
Content you upload to Reflecting Pool - JSON files, text files, or any other plain content - is stored on Aquarium Apps' servers. This is not local-only: your uploads persist on our infrastructure so Reflecting Pool can process them and let you return to your results later.
Your data persists until you delete it or close your account. Once deleted, it is removed from our servers. Reflecting Pool does not currently have a dedicated privacy policy; see the general Privacy Policies hub for how Aquarium Apps handles data across its products.
5. Warranty disclaimer
Reflecting Pool is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aquarium Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of Reflecting Pool, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because Reflecting Pool is a free service with no paid tiers, Aquarium Apps' total liability for any claim arising from its use is zero dollars.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted at aquariumapps.io/reflecting-pool/terms. For material changes, we will provide notice before the new terms take effect. Continued use of Reflecting Pool after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
