Stint Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using Stint. By installing or using Stint, you agree to them.
The license to use Stint's software is governed by the Stint EULA.
1. Acceptance
Using Stint means you accept these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app.
These terms apply alongside Atlassian's Marketplace Terms of Use and your organization's own Jira agreements. In the event of a conflict, Atlassian's Marketplace Terms take precedence over these terms to the extent required.
2. Billing
Stint is free for the first 10 people in your Jira instance. Each additional person is $2 per month. All billing is handled by Atlassian Marketplace. Aquarium Apps does not process payments or store payment information. Refunds are governed by Atlassian's Marketplace refund policy - contact Atlassian support for billing disputes.
3. Permitted use
You may use Stint for legitimate business time tracking on Jira instances where you have authorization to log work. Stint is intended for use by employees, contractors, and teams tracking time against Jira issues.
4. Prohibited use
You may not:
- Script or automate bulk actions against Stint's UI or API in a way that generates abnormal load, or that interferes with other users on your Jira instance
- Use Stint for any purpose that violates Atlassian's Cloud Terms of Service or Marketplace Terms of Use
Restrictions specific to the software license itself (attempting to access the backend directly, reselling, sublicensing) are set out in the Stint EULA.
5. Your data
You own your time data. Worklogs created through Stint are native Jira worklogs stored in your Jira instance - they belong to you and your organization. Aquarium Apps does not claim any rights over them.
App settings and timer state stored in Forge Storage and Forge SQL are associated with your Jira instance and account. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what is stored and how to export or delete it.
6. Warranty disclaimer
Stint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. No uptime SLA is offered for the free tier. The paid tier is subject to Atlassian Forge platform availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aquarium Apps' total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Stint or these terms is limited to the fees you paid for Stint in the twelve months preceding the claim. Aquarium Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post changes at aquariumapps.io/stint/terms. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Continued use of Stint after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
