Installation

Shoal is a free, open-source npm package. Install it globally with:

npm install -g @aquarium-tools/shoal

Then add shoal as an MCP server in your Claude Desktop or Claude Code configuration. Point it at your Jira instance using environment variables for credentials - no account or sign-up required.
